Growing up in a family of four girls (and one boy), June Donner was always the artist in the family. Though her talents lean towards commercial art, her adult life as a Midwestern farm wife, with five children of her own, left her little time to follow that path. These days, at the urging of her now grown kids to follow her dream, June spends all of her spare time drawing and sketching. She also lends her artistic talents to the local hospital where she is employed as a pharmacy technician. She is currently producing special order wedding and special occasion invitations, although her specialty is creating women doing something they love: being sassy, reading to grandchildren, gardening or just having fun. With June’s sisters as her biggest fans, “Just Us Girls” was a natural outgrowth of her creativity. Today, the girls create fun products for women: “Sisters” shirts, “Fight Like A Girl” shirts, shopping and gym bags, greeting cards, wine bags and much more. A portion of the proceeds from every “Fight Like a Girl” product is donated to Relay for Life cancer research.
